The Markets
Stocks posted strong gains in the final session of the trading week, cutting the loss for the week down to a third of what it was at the lows of Wednesday’s session. The S&P 500 Index gained 1.49%, ending just marginally above its 20-day moving average. The gyrations within the rising intermediate –term trading range continue with the lower limit of the rising span now sitting around 4075, while the upper limit can be pegged around 4275.
