Canada Labour Force Survey for June

Despite a strong headline print, employment in Canada was actually lacklustre in June as strength in full-time, particularly goods producing, positions fades following this spring’s pre-tariff front running.
Stripping out the seasonal adjustments, which are irrelevant in this (and any) environment, employment actually jumped by 258,500, or 1.2% last month, which is shy of the 1.4% rise that is normal at this time of year.
