US Employment Situation for August

A degradation in the labor market is becoming increasingly evident as private payrolls abnormally decline in August now that the pre-tariff front-running from July has ended.
Payrolls grew by 200,000, or 0.13% (NSA), in August, which is the weakest August performance in a decade. The average change for this last month of the meteorological summer season is a rise of 0.2%.
