iShares Russell 1000 Index (ETF) (Public, NYSE:IWB) – Info – iShares Russell 1000 Index Fund (the Fund) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the Russell 1000 Index (the Index). The Index measures the performance of the large-capitalization sector of the United States equity market. The Index is a float-adjusted, capitalization-weighted index of equity securities issued by the approximately 1,000 largest issuers in the Russell 3000 Index. The Index is a subset of the Russell 3000 Index and serves as the underlying index for the Russell 1000 Growth and Value Indices, and the Russell Top 200 and MidCap series. Component companies are adjusted for available float and must meet objective criteria for inclusion to the Index. Reconstitution is annual. The Fund invests in a representative sample of securities included in the Index that collectively has an investment profile similar to the Index.
